LANGUAGLE

Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 16, 2026

Languagle is a daily language-guessing game. There are no accounts, no sign-in, and no server storing anything about you. Here is exactly what the game does with data.

The short version

Your progress, your streak and your settings are kept on your own device and are never sent anywhere. Clear your browser storage and all of it is gone for good. Nobody has another copy, including me.

What is stored on your device

The game keeps three things in your browser's localStorage. That is space on your own phone or computer. It is not sent to a server and it does not follow you to another device.

That is the whole list. No identifier, no account, no email address, no name, and none of it leaves your device.

Feedback you choose to send

The Submit Feedback form is the one part of the game that sends anything anywhere, and only when you type a message and press Send. It sends the text you wrote and nothing else. Your puzzle number, your board, your stats and your settings are not attached, so there is no way to tie a message back to a particular player. Delivery is handled by Web3Forms, which forwards it to me by email.

How to erase everything

Clear this site's data in your browser settings, or play in a private or incognito window so nothing is stored to begin with. The game works exactly the same either way. It will simply treat you as a new player each time.

Cookies

The game sets no cookies. localStorage is a different mechanism, and unlike a cookie it is never transmitted along with your requests.

Advertising

As things stand, Languagle carries no advertising and contains no advertising code. If that changes, this section will be updated before any ad code goes live. It will name the provider, say what cookies or identifiers it sets, and link to that provider's own privacy policy and opt-out controls.

Analytics

As things stand, Languagle uses no analytics and collects no usage statistics of any kind. If analytics are added, this section will be updated first, naming the provider and what it measures.

Links to other sites

The game links out to a few external pages: a portfolio, an email address, a tipping page, and the source behind each day's phrase. Following those takes you to services I do not run, each with its own privacy policy. Nothing about your game goes with you.

Children

Languagle is suitable for a general audience and knowingly collects information from nobody, of any age. There is nothing to collect, because the game asks for nothing and stores nothing off your device.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes in a way that affects what is stored or where it goes, the date at the top will change and the change will be described here.
